The set of Monte Carlo, a coffee shop run by Oka. The biggest feature is a large window, which offers a view of the cafe interior and a narrow kitchen at the back. Next to the kitchen is a door to the restroom. Monte Carlo was originally opened in the 1970s by Oka’s grandfather. The interior is filled with elements from different eras, such as items from Showa-era dramas, vinyl records, toys, and antique furniture. Some new items, like Oka's personal belongings, are also occasionally placed. Though the store has a limited number of seats, it was designed to feel warm and cozy. There are some props made by hand, like a beaded curtain. The coffee shop scenes were all filmed entirely on a studio set. Since the set's base structure was already in place, we focused mainly on decoration.
